Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using ScopeFocus you agree to these terms. If you are using it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

2. What ScopeFocus is — and is not

ScopeFocus is a cognitive training and self-tracking product. Its games are adapted from published experimental paradigms, and the scores, radars and AI-written summaries it produces describe performance on those games.

• It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or screen for any condition
• It is not a professional or clinical assessment, and its output is not a clinical opinion
• It does not replace advice from a qualified doctor, psychologist or educator
• Nothing it reports should be used to make a medical, educational or employment decision on its own

If you have a concern about attention, memory or development, speak to a qualified professional. Bring the reports if they help the conversation — they are a record of how someone played, not a finding about them.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• Playing without an account — most of the product works with no sign-in at all; results stay on the device
• Signing in — optional, via Google or a QR code approved on a signed-in device, and used to sync results across screens
• Children — ScopeFocus is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent, guardian or professional, who is responsible for the account and for consenting on their behalf
• Team accounts — an organisation that deploys TabletX is responsible for the accounts it creates and for the lawful basis on which it records its members' results

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the product to harass, endanger or discriminate against anyone
• Do not present its output as a clinical, diagnostic or professional assessment
• Do not attempt to access accounts, results or team data that are not yours
• Do not disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or scrape it in bulk
• Do not resell or sublicense access without a written agreement

5. Your data

Game results belong to the person who produced them. The Privacy Policy sets out what is collected, where it is stored, and how to have it deleted; the KVKK notice sets out the same in the terms of Turkish data protection law. Nothing in these terms grants any right to sell your data or to train models on it.

6. Availability and changes

The product is provided as it is, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. Games, dimensions and features may be added, changed or withdrawn — the library is actively developed, and a game present today may be revised tomorrow if the research it rests on says it should be.

7. Intellectual property

ScopeFocus, the ScopePlus mark, the game designs and the software are owned by Innovative Teknoloji and its licensors. The experimental paradigms the games draw on are published research and belong to their authors, who are cited on each game. You keep everything you create with the product, including your results and reports.

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScopeFocus is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data you have not backed up, or for decisions taken on the basis of its output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

9. Termination

You can stop using ScopeFocus at any time, clear local data from your browser, and request deletion of synced records. We may suspend access that breaches section 4 or that puts the service or other people at risk.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
